You can tell a lot about trends in home and fashion from the trends on sites like Etsy, where customers can purchase homemade items in just about every category. According to Etsy and House Beautiful, here are the top trends you’ll be seeing in home decor this fall. Which are your favorites? Which will you leave behind?

Stained Glass

This isn’t your grandma’s stained glass! The art form itself is growing in popularity again, and artisans are creating all sorts of unique pieces of art using this medium. And for good reason, too. From colorful abstract mosaics to artful depictions of real life, stained glass has come a long way from the churches it was once confined to.

Rustic Vibes

Let’s face it, even when you live in San Antonio, Texas, the fall months bring along a desire for warm and cozy decor. From unfinished wood tables to chunky knitted blankets and pillows, cabin chic is hitting the interior design scene in a big way.

Grandma’s Glassware

Have you noticed the desire we seem to have for nostalgia these days? From reboots of our favorite old shows to a fascination with the homemade, the world seems to be craving an old-fashioned touch. Not only is that old-school glassware in fashion, but it can also be an investment. Some pieces of vintage Pyrex are worth hundreds of dollars.

Statement Wallpaper

We’ve written before about wallpaper’s big comeback, and the craze hasn’t faded away yet. Don’t worry, though. The newer wallpaper designs are clean and modern and much more easily removed when you’re ready for something new. You’ll be seeing a lot of this in modern home designs in the coming years.
