I wanted to let you know how pleased we have been with our entire experience with McNair Custom Homes! My transfer to San Antonio was at an unexpected time for my family. My wife, Amy was expecting our third child and we did not know anyone in San Antonio. Finding the right community for our family was very important. We wanted to let you know we have found it here in Canyon Springs!

In addition to a quality custom home, the service we experienced from your sales counselor was second to none! His enthusiasm for the quality of the home and what this community offers was what made the difference for us. We visited San Antonio last week and closed on our home at 419 Cavayo Trail. We are so pleased with the house and the quality of service we have received throughout the building process.

Your sales counselor has been very courteous and professional from the start. She had wonderful suggestions for our home, and she has always responded promptly to our calls and emails. She was even kind enough to give us updates by email so that we were informed of the progress of our home.

We were also very impressed with your Superintendent. He was outstanding to work with. We were so impressed with his work ethic and attention to details. We met him for the first time on our electrical walk. We could tell right away that he really cared about doing a good job on our home. He knew that we lived out-of-state and would not be near enough to see the house as it progressed. He was kind enough to send us pictures of our house so that we were informed. He told us on that electrical walk that he would take good care of us, and he certainly did. The quality of our new home is exceptional, and we could not be more pleased.

Now that the boxes have all been emptied, most things have a place and reality has hit that 734 Sentry Hill is now home I have realized that because of my absence during the entire construction phase I have never had the pleasure of meeting you.

This is the sixth relocation for Mike and I and our second time building a home. Neither is easy. By now we have a very good idea of what we do and do not want in a home and community. Luckily we had a wonderful realtor, who was able to decipher our "priority list" and point us in the appropriate direction. Thankfully she led us to your doorstep. Our initial visit to The Estates and Trails was fruitless but luckily a second visit brought us into The Reserve.

Please pass along our thanks to all involved. It is obviously a very busy time for McNair Custom Homes and we know there are many other current and prospective homeowners out there demanding their time as well. No matter what our questions or concerns they always have and continue to be responsive, respectful and polite. Together they have been a great team and because of that we now have a beautiful new home. We foresee many happy years in Canyon Springs.

Dear Mr. McNair,

I don't often do this -- in fact, this may be a first. It has been on my mind for a while to write you a note to let you know how pleased we have been with our McNair home. Almost two years ago we purchased one of your homes in the Sonoma Ranch Subdivision. Due to company relocations, this was our 4th home in 8 years. We had previously built from the ground up and were not anxious to do it again. We searched high and low for existing housing, but at the end of the day we could not find anything to meet our needs other than an in-process McNair home. We gritted our teeth and made the decision to purchase a new home again. We have not regretted our decision. This was evidence by the one-year follow-up. All of the needed repairs were minor and easily corrected. In addition, we found all of your employees and the subcontractors to be highly skilled, professional and customer service oriented.

We are seriously considering relocating within the San Antonio area in order to own an acreage lot -- one of our life-long dreams. This time we are not as concerned about building a home because we know that we can contact your company and receive the service and home features that we desire. If we build, it will be a McNair home.

One of the things we are thankful for this Thanksgiving season is our McNair home. It is stylish and comfortable, and we are enjoying the neighborhood. We wanted to take a minute to send you an e-mail just to let you know what a great job your staff did during the construction of our home.

As we are sure you already know, you have an outstanding salesman. His enthusiasm about McNair Custom Homes and The Reserve at Canyon Springs instills confidence. However, we wanted to make sure that you knew he was also a tremendous help during the construction process. On several occasions, he was able to quickly "get to the bottom of things" and resolve situations. We truly appreciate all that he has done for us.

We executed a number of Change Orders with his assistant. She was always very efficient and professional. Her prompt handling of our Change Orders helped move the construction process along quickly and pleasantly.

The best thing that happened to us during the construction of our home was our relationship with McNair's Superintendent. He is knowledgeable, personable, and conscientious. He knows how to maintain the delicate balance between managing the subcontractors and making sure things are done correctly to keep the homeowners happy. We have built homes with Burdick and Don Craighead and neither of those builders had Superintendents as hard working or as easy to work with as your superintendent was. Please let your staff and subcontractors know that you received our e-mail full of high praise for their work on our home.

I just wanted to send you a short note to say thanks for the outstanding staff you having working on the McNair team that is building our home. From our 1st meeting with you when we discussed the floor plan modifications to the electrical walk through last week with your superintendent, this has been a very good experience. We know that he is the guy on the "point" making it happen on a daily basis and we think he is doing a great job. Every meeting and discussion we have had with him has been very productive and he provides the right mix of professional opinion and experience combined with regard for our personal desires as first time homebuilders to make the "right" choices.

Our meet the builder session helped us start early making our list of things we might want to consider and really established the partnership approach to building our home. You've got a "grade A" player in your sales counselor. He is a true professional that handles and addresses all our questions in a very prompt and efficient manner. When he is out, the front line team doesn't miss a beat as his assistant is also a quality individual who has handled our questions and concerns in a very prompt manner.

Your interior design team is world class, providing the right mix of professional expertise and customer freedom to ensure that the selections will achieve the desired outcome. From our first appointment to make the appliance selection thru our Homewerks walk last week, we couldn't have asked for more pleasant and beneficial interfaces.

In closing, thanks for the daily efforts of your "world class" team! We are extremely pleased with the progress to date and can't wait to move into our McNair Custom home.

It was a pleasure working with McNair over a warranty issue. McNair called the house every day to check on the progress of the contractors. The customer service was one of the best I have ever seen. They showed a sincere interest in our situation and us and did their best to correct it in a timely and professional fashion. I doubt other homeowners that purchased a home from other homebuilders get this type of service. This is what sets McNair Custom Homes apart from all other homebuilders in the area.
